The College of Business Administration offers business programs at
undergraduate and graduate levels. Course work prepares students to
succeed in the world of business, and outside opportunities with
area businesses prepare students to enter their careers. Nearly 93
percent of the college’s graduates find employment immediately
following graduation.
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB
International), the premier accrediting agency for bachelor’s and
master’s degree programs in business administration and accounting,
accredits programs of the College of Business Administration.

The College of Communication and Fine Arts is an active cultural
center of the university and offers programs based on creativity,
expression and human communication. Its graduates are prepared to
become global citizens who understand the power, dynamics and
responsibility of communication.
The college offers many student performance and communication
organizations, including bands and choirs, theater and galleries,
and student news media and publications.

Programs in the College of Education and Human Services develop
effective professionals, critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
Students in these programs – teaching, recreation and human
service-related areas – develop professional skills in required
internship and field experiences prior to graduation.
CMU has earned accreditation from the National Council for
Accreditation of Teacher Education. Because of that accreditation,
CMU is expected to meet high standards for all professional
education programs.

Sciences explore ideas and values that come from human experience
and the forces that shape human behavior and interaction –
fundamental areas in the study of the liberal arts. Students apply
