To educate our students who can function as responsible global citizens and effective world leaders in this increasingly interdependent world is the most urgent and challenging task facing higher education institutions today. Faculty members are the key players in this educational process in terms of what should be included in the curriculum and how international dimension should be infused in courses we offer to our students. For the purpose of enhancing the levels of awareness and understanding of our faculty members in global issues and concerns, we present faculty international development opportunities at Central Michigan University and beyond. Since late 1999, there have been more than 60 faculty members across the University who have taken advantage of such opportunities. Some of them have made significant contributions to the promotion of international education at CMU. We strongly encourage our faculty members to continue to utilize such opportunities. Please contact Office of International Education if you have any questions or need more information.
