Mission Statement
Our mission is to educate our students who would function as responsible global citizens and effective world leaders in this increasingly interdependent world by implementing strategies that are relevant at Central Michigan University.

Goals

• Increase the number of international students from different parts of the world who not only add diversity to our student body but also add multicultural dimensions to teaching and learning.
  
  
• Encourage more students to study, work and volunteer abroad.
  
  
• Provide the best possible service and support to our current international students and international visiting scholars
  
  
• Present and create international development opportunities to our faculty members in teaching research, and curriculum development
  
  
• Host international programs and activities that create an environment which is inductive to all community members for an active role in shaping tomorrow's world.
